[Over the dulcet tones of the Barney wearing sentinel singing about how it hates them  even more now that they crushed everything twice, we have a bunch of very sorry mutants who perhaps shouldn't have drunk half as much as they did.  This does not stop Julian doing as he planned, even if he too looks like he really should have drunk less.]

All right, everyone sit down, shut up and try not to throw up on each other.  You need to pay attention to this.

Not yet. We tried to keep it from him, but... [sigh] Julian is going to tell him, soon.

It's kind of a long story that isn't entirely mine to tell...the point is it was Julian's call not to tell him, and he made the call that Jay has to know, so he can decide what to do when he gets to leave this place.

Well, he's been here the longest, and someone had to assume a leadership role. Plus...it'll be good for him.

Trust me. I'm not going to get into details, but...it doesn't get any easier for us, and that especially goes for Julian. Having a team that relies on him might go a long way to helping him.
