[Over the dulcet tones of the Barney wearing sentinel singing about how it hates them  even more now that they crushed everything twice, we have a bunch of very sorry mutants who perhaps shouldn't have drunk half as much as they did.  This does not stop Julian doing as he planned, even if he too looks like he really should have drunk less.]

All right, everyone sit down, shut up and try not to throw up on each other.  You need to pay attention to this.

Yep. All wingified and having no memory of what happened to him. We've been keeping it from him but I'm going to tell him after this is all over.

Now, what you don't know. We're not the last mutants; there's been two more born after us, and there's been five more whose mutant powers became active, but they're kind of ... weird. They're not like us. Anyway, we now live on a hunk of rock just inside international waters because everyone wants to kill us. We call it Utopia because we like irony. Everything sucks, only now we get to learn how to farm and stuff because god help us if we actually get to live normal lives.

Yeah. They were born before Decimation, but they didn't have any powers until after. So. We're no longer the sole hope of the mutant race. Not that that changes anything.
