Bits. Most of it seemed like it was in a dream. Not a lot made sense.

Mister Summers never shuts up, though. He talks and talks like he gets paid by the word.

How long do you have to stay here?

Couple more days, because of how it happened.

I'll probably try to leave tonight. I bet I can get out before someone catches me.

I know that a week's passed. And I know about Vic. How are you going?

I did not murder Ms. Grey.

[ she sounds proud at this accomplishment ]

I guessed. She would have said so.

... she visited you?

[julienned]

Not physically. She wanted my reassurance that I still thought she was a hero.

[gustamove]

[ looks somewhat annoyed ]

How did that go?

I couldn't give it. Not after Vic. Not the way she told me about it, either.

I don't think she gets how redemption works.

[gustamove]

I told her that if she visited you while you were here that I would make her regret it.

Telepathic visits still count.

[julienned]

She'd probably blame you if she started killing people after that, you know. And everyone here'd believe it. We're the bad guys, remember?

[he sighs dramatically.]

We'll think of something. What I realised earlier is that our problem isn't that she's not in control, it's that she doesn't get why she's not. She doesn't get that everything she did and is blaming the Phoenix Force for is things she wants. She said that the Phoenix Force is just grabbing any slight and twisting it: I don't think that's true. I think she does want to kill off every flatscan here, and I think she does want me to help her with that. She just doesn't want to acknowledge and deal with all that, so she blames something else.

And until she realises that she can't just shove it off and that she has to acknowledge that she's doing that, it's gonna get worse.

[gustamove]

Everyone is telling her that it was entirely the Phoenix though. Between us and them, who will she believe?

[julienned]

Oh, are they? Wow. We really will be the bad guys.

[then he grins.]

Then let's be bad guys.

We're going to have to make her face it, whether she likes it or not. Unlike everyone else, we aren't secretly little kids; we know what we have to do to save the world.

Anyway, everyone knows that the bad guys with a sympathetic goal are the ones everyone likes once the dust settles.

[gustamove]

A lot of bad guys have accents. I am ready for this role.

And you're hot. The bad guys are always hotter.
